Details
The event is rain or shine, so be prepared to play in the
rain.  You need to be at the course around 8:30 a.m., the
earlier we start, the earlier we are done.  We will have
a shotgun start at 9 a.m., with 4-somes starting on each
hole.  The price of the event is $85 per person, which
includes golf, a cart for two golfers, prizes for
longest drive, closest to the pin, and the winning team.
The entry fee also includes coffee and bagels in the
morning, hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers and salad
for lunch, all the beer you can drink, water, soda and a
nice donation to our charity. Lunch will be served after
golf during the raffle.  Beer will be at a central
location as well as several kegs with the beer girls,
who will be driving around the course. Unlike the past
with a big raffle at the end during lunch, we will be
driving around the course stopping at each group and
awarding random prizes to golfers to help speed up the
day.  We will also raffle off a few of the better prizes
and will also have a 50/50 contest after the round

Common Questions
Are all the guys in moe. going to play? I can't guarantee
that all the members will play and show up, but in the
previous seven years of the tourney, most have played
or made an appearance each year.

Can I have Al/Chuck/Jim/Rob/Vin as a partner?
Probably not as they have friends that they want to tee
it up with. That said, there will plenty of chances to
talk to them before/during and after the round.

Do I have to have a four some to sign up?  No, you can
sign up as a single and I will pair you up with another
single, then pair your group up with another two some
to form a fore some. I will pair up the groups the
morning of the event.

Is there a limit on how many people can play at the
tourney
? Great Question, this year I am taking 135
golfers, so minus the no shows, we hope to have 120 or
so. Please, if you sign up, show up. I pay extra for the
additional carts, so if you don't show, I still pay, which
only hurts the charity.
What should I do if want to play, but I'm not sure  if I can
make it?
Send me an email to let me know of your
intentions and I will keep you up to date on how fast the
field is filling up. The earlier you let me know, the
better your chances are of playing. Please don't sign up
if you are not sure.

Can I camp at the venue on Thursday night? I'm sorry
that you won't be able to camp at the venue, but email me
and I can send you a list of places to stay on Thursday
night.

Where can I find directions to the golf course? You can
find them here.
The course is 5 minutes from the venue and is right past
the South Lewis High School. I'm trying to find a better
set of directions and will post them when found.

Do I have to be a good golfer to play?   Another definite
NO, hackers are more than welcome, in fact, most of the
golfers are hackers who are lucky to play once a year.

What time can I expect to leave the course on Friday to
head to the venue?
We try to be done with the golf by 2,
then about an hour or so for lunch, raffles, and 50/50,
so by 3:00 you are good to go. The faster people play on
the course, the sooner you can leave.

What do I get for my fee?  Besides a great time and many
laughs, you get to ride in a cart with another golfer, 18
holes of golf, a grill lunch ( burgers, veggie burgers,
hot dogs, various salads), unlimited beer during the
round and lunch as well as soda after the round. Not
included in the fee are snacks during the round and
entry into the 50/50 drawing.

Can I ride along in a cart and not play?  I'm sorry but I
can not allow non-golfers on the course with no
exceptions, so please don't ask as this is not my rule to
enforce. If you wish to pay full price for the event, you
can choose not to play.

What do I need to participate? Besides the entry fee, you
will need a set of golf clubs, spikeless shoes and
decent golf attire. What is decent golf attire? No cut
off shorts and no tank tops.

Can I be a beer girl? Yes, you can always be a beer girl
at your own house, but unfortunately all these highly
sought after positions are filled for the tourney.

How can I donate money to the charity without attending
the event?
Yes, send me an email and we can work out
the detals
